Byron lee, who is well known from Byron Lee and the Dragonaires calypsonian band, passed away quietly on November 4. Byron lost the battle to cancer at age 73. Byron lee was known for his contribution to Jamaican music in the area of Calypso and Ska. While Trinidad is the Calypso country, Jamaica was able to hold its own because of Lee and his band the Dragonaires. Lee also started the Jamaica Festival over 20 years ago. Our condolences go out to Lee's family and friends, rest in peace.
Barrack Obama ailing Grandma passed away earlier today at her home in Hawaii. She was suffering from cancer. She was 86 years old. Recently Obama visited his grandmother in Hawaii to see her for the last time. Our condolence goes out to the Obama Family.

Lesbian gun-women are taking over the Go-Go clubs in Jamaica. Go-Go Clubs used to be dominated by men seeking a thrill in watching naked women dance. Now it turns out that many of these women are Lesbians themselves and their girlfriends are now part of the audience.
These girlfriends sometimes get very jealous when the men try to make it out with their Lesbian dancers and then the trouble start. The irony is that some of these women are "Shottas" and it said that few men have been known to get shot up at these clubs, for real. It can't get any better in Jamaica!
Have you ever wondered why the present government crime plan is producing fewer results than the previous government? Reason: There are no calls to sacrifice. No major battle ever won without sacrifice.
Before we can eradicate the scourge of crime from our society we must first admit that it is a major problem, a hindrance to prosperity. Crime cannot be seen as another issue to deal with. It must be tackled as the number one issue, maybe the only issue to deal with now. The society WILL NOT prosper with the present rate of crime, period.
So the government must do the following:
Once these measures are adapted and crime is under control, there will be a flood of investment to the Islands of the likes we could not imagine. There are millions of Jamaicans abroad that are willing to invest in their country, but they will not do so under the present climate of uncertainty. If every Jamaican overseas just build a house in the community where they are from this would create an impact on the economy that no foreign loans could match.
