Reggae superstar ‘Luciano’ denies knowing that wanted gunman Andrew Senior, alias Conqueror was on the police most wanted list. Senior was gunned down in a shootout with the police last week at Luciano home in Kingston. The singer was not at the house but his family was there. Luciano told reporters that as an entertainer people go and come regularly from his house where he also has a studio. He fiercely denied knowing that Senior was a gunman or was wanted by the police.

The President of the United States shows what can be achieved when one shows respect and constrain between another. As he was exposed and tested on his first visit abroad to show the world his character and substance not to mention his charisma. He has delivered in such an exemplary fashion one that should make all Americans proud. Yes President Obama shows what is like to be a leader and not a bully or dictator. The moment that the world has been waiting for has arrived; US first black President Barrack Obama entering the world arena as leader of the free world. Many Americans, regardless of belief, must be feeling proud again to have a leader who is so versatile as Obama representing the USA. Gone are the days of the bully politics. Gone are the days when other world leaders from countries like France, Russia, China, Germany etc. are seeing as mere followers to the US and not as worthwhile participants in world affairs. A gay right group in the US city of San Francisco has launched a boycott against Jamaican product sold in the USA. Their main target for now is Red Stripe Beer. The irony is that Red Stripe Beer distributor last year scaled down support for reggae shows sponsorship due to the anti-gay lyrics of some dance-hall entertainers. So we wonder if this boycott is genuine or it has more sinister plot to it. The main argument form the lobbyist group is that jamaican government and police are not doing enough to prevent violence against gays.
