Just to remind Jamaicaviews readers that the recent flu epidemic known as the Swine Flu is still a threat to the Caribbean. Recently a 17 old year old Dominican female resident doed from complication caused by the disease. A recent Jamaica Gleaner report stated that ‘Barbados, Cuba, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago are among the other Caribbean countries that have reported cases.’ Read the rest of this entry

I still cannot understand what the real issue is as it relates to the day that police in Jamaica choosing to worship. Police like Doctors, Nurses, Soldiers, and Firefighter are among the essential people that are needed not only to work on weekends but also to work in time of disaster and or emergency situation. They are among the first line that is called to duty in case of rescue or disaster situation. President Obama Middle East Speech
Most people around the world were impressed with not only the courage but with the actual speech that the President of America stood up for. As usual many cannot deny that the president ideas and intent that he spoke of at Cairo University was very hopeful.

The Jamaican police as usual allow the Lottery Scam to get out of hand, just like how they allow the gun for drugs trade between Jamaica and Haiti to flourish. What I can’t understand with all the money that the Jamaican Government pays out to experts for intelligence work, how comes information is flowing on the street for years before police intelligence got hold of it? Dr. Vendryes article in the Gleaner June2, 2009 in regards to the increase use and quick fix as it relates to medication and the diseases that they cure. Subject: ‘Lawd! Mi Ded Now!’
A Jamaican living in the States was down on his luck. Out of work and broke, he started going around to various companies in the city begging for a job, any job.
Finally he got to the Zoo. The Zookeeper looked stressed out.
‘The monkey escaped last night’, the Zookeeper said,

Jamaica has been struggling with the crime situation for years but has not gotten a grip on the situation as of yet. They have tried many ways to get a handle on the situation but with little success. They have developed the King fish and they have also sought help from abroad by hiring Mark Shield.
