Dunn's River Falls is a famous waterfall near Ocho Rios, Jamaica and a major Caribbean tourist attraction that attracts thousands of visitors each year.[1][2].
About 1,000 feet (300 m) high,[3] the waterfalls are terraced like giant stair steps. Several small lagoons are interspersed among the vertical sections of the falls.
Climbing up the waterfalls is a popular tourist activity[4] and is often, but not exclusively, performed with the help of tour guides from the park. Rice and Peas and chicken as it is affectionately called is a well loved dish in Jamaica. You can walk into any Jamaican home, especially on a Sunday, and almost guarantee that you will run into some nice Rice and Peas and Chicken meal. I don't know of many Jamaicans, except for vegetarians, who don't love this dish. Jamaicans will also boast that no one in the world can cook this dish like them. Mmmm.

| American Airline crashed last night December 22, 09 at the Norman Manley international Airport in Kingston Jamaica. Reports are that it was a rainy night and a bumpy ride and almost a catastrophic landing just days before Christmas. Thanks be to God this terrible tragedy was averted which could be chaos and devastation for many Jamaicans. Although 40 passengers were hurt with cuts, bruises and broken bones with only 4 passengers seriously hurt.

| Words are that Trinidad owned Caribbean Airlines are in the final stage of a deal to purchase Air Jamaica. Air Jamaica has been on the selling block since it was reported that it is indebted to the tune of US$1.2 billion. While most Jamaicans may feel a sense of loss with Jamaica no longer owning the Airline they will cherish the idea that at least the Airline has not gone under and it is still Caribbean owned.

| The Jamaica people will be placed under more pressure from new government taxation on just about everything that moves. The ruling JLP government had squandered its first two years in office by trying to show how intellectually capable it was and totally ignored the practical reality of how a country is run. Now faced with a run away deficit, high unemployment, difficulty paying its debt, high crime rate the government is responding with nothing else except taxes, taxes and more taxes.

| In a strategic move reggae artist Buju ‘Mark Myrie’ Banton attorney did not apply for bail yesterday in Miami as expected. According to attorney Herbert Walker III, the case will most likely be tried in Tampa and that is where he should apply for Bail for the artist as you only have one shot at a a bail hearing. Buju is charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine. Buju categorically denied all charges against him.

| Popular lawman Superintendent Harry Daley also known as Harry Bungles was found guilty of corruption charge in the Half-Way Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday. | Reggae superstar Buju “Mark Myrie’ Banton is to go before a Florida court today to answer charges in conspiracy to deal cocaine among other charges. The artist is expected to deny all charges against him and his attorney will be requesting bail. Many of the artist fans believe that he has been set up because of his recordings targeting the Gay and Lesbian community. Whatever the case maybe we are hoping that Buju receives very good legal representation so that he can clear his name if he is innocent.
