It is so devastating to hear of the reports that Haiti was hit by a 7.0 earthquake. It is so heart breaking to see a country that has been going through so much, struggle and a fight to survive the instability caused by so violence, political unrest and natural disasters the last of which was four hurricane that hit the poor country in 2008, and now this devastating earthquake which anyone can imagine has cause many death and structural damages.It is tough when a country with so little resources have to deal with so much disaster and struggles. Those poor children who have to endure pain and heartache time after time at such tender age. It is so heat breaking the little we have seen so far buildings collapsing onto each other while others crumble to the ground and only Gods knows who is under that rubble.
I pray that daylight will come quickly so that people can be rescued from the wreckages. And even though I pray for daylight to come quickly I am fearful of what we may be exposed to as we already see a glimpse of what may be a reality.
I hope that the people who have lost their lives did not suffer and I pray that God will grant the families and friends hope, strength and courage to deal with this devastation.
