It was surprising to me when my cousin told me that her father had received blood which he need desperately and more or less he would have died if he had not received those units of pack red blood cells. What had floored me is when she told me that the Dr. said that she wanted back her blood which my cousin had agreed to return. The problem only got worse when people, family members, and friends who were willing to give blood change their minds when they realized the location of the donation site. They were afraid to tread in that area.
