It is a wonderful feeling and a great achievement to celebrate with my school Vere Technical High 50 years of greatness and as I look back at the memories my heart is filled with pride to know that I was indeed a part of such a wonderful body.
I remembered when I out of frustration selected Vere Technical as my school of choice not for one moment believing that I would pass but I did. I was now In a pickle seeing that I did not know or have anyone living in that area .My mom tried to get a transfer but without success and so I was off to Vere I boarded then travel because I missed my family so much and board again because the stress of traveling everyday which is nothing like now to and back from Kingston was too much and so my mother boarded me again during my final years. Jamaicans doesn’t fail to amazes the world in regards to their greatness and of course their stupidity.
We have done a lot in the word to command respect and fear. Our music, athletes and academies have shine and impact the world regularly of which I am proud.

A story in today’s Jamaica Gleaner illustrated the inhumane treatment meted out to residents of a government sponsored Golden Age home which supposed to be rendering care to the old and disabled. Residents were involved in mass showering with water hose and some were actually fastened to their beds with ropes. There were residents who lie in one place for hours covered in feces and urine. We used to say they were treated like dogs but now we have to say dogs are treated much better these days.

I kind of agree reluctantly with this writer. It was tough job for Emil George from the onset. First he was handpicked by the PM so this makes him prime target for perceived bias. He at times openly shows in some of his rulings his obvious bias for the PM side. However, when all this is said and done he survived.

Jamaica Defence Force
Jamaica should declare WAR on Barbados. We should send the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) and teach them a lesson in beating since they love to abuse people. Our soldiers are highly rated, remember the Grenada invasion, where the USA was surprised by the bravery of our army. It is time that these little insignificant tiny islands stop pushing their weight around. Why can’t we be like the USA and take care of Bullies like how they take care of Iraq and Libya? Why do we have a 5000 man army and our citizens are being abused? Click Here for the JDF.

Jamaica Observer Photo and Story
A Jamaican woman has alleged that a custom officer at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados had used her hands and fingers to violate her when she attempted to enter that country. The woman alleged that the custom officer constantly inserted her hands in her vagina as she pretended to search for contraband. During the ordeal the officer was cursing Jamaicans claiming that Jamaican women usually come to Barbados to take away their men, among other things. Many civic organizations and government officials have launched their condemnation of the alleged treatment of the Jamaican by Barbadian officials.

Star of The Manatt/Dudus Inquiry
For those of us who have been following the Commissioner of Inquiry into the Manatt /Dudus affair we have been enlightened by the eloquence and brilliance of some of Jamaica outstanding counsels of law. Some have emerged as shining stars and of course there were the wishy washys as usual. One of the brightest and shiniest stars of the inquiry is no other than Queens Council widely known as KD Knight.
KD Knight as lit damnation fire under all the players defending the government stance on the Manatt/Dudus saga. Skilful, effective and forceful cross examination has become the Read the rest of this entry

After witnessing the devastation of many of his henchmen in the RED HOT seat of the Manatt/Dudus Commission of Enquiry it seems like Jamaica Prime Minister the Honorable Bruce Golding is having second thoughts about testifying. His attorney Hugh Small has been trying to tell the commissioners that due to Mr. Golding travel engagements and budget commitments he may not be able to testify until later in March. When one of the commissioners indicated that he could accommodate Mr. Golding sooner so as not to mess up Read the rest of this entry
