The alleged incident occurred Sunday night, at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Seattle. Sources tell us two women showed up for a party in one of the hotel rooms. Kingston was present.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the women were both intoxicated when they arrived, with bottles of vodka and beer in hand. We’re told one of the women claims Kingston had sex with her, and, as one source says, “She was very aggressive.” Kingston then left the party and went to another room on the same floor. Read More in TMZ

Super Star Reggae DJ Vybz Kartel supposedly sent out text messages to his fans appealing for help in his ordeal with the Jamaica police. Since yesterday police asked Vybz Kartel whose real name is Adija Palmer to turn himself in for questioning. The police are tightlipped about what they want Kartel for but up until today there is no word from the mainstream media whether Kartel surrenders.

Here is the text purported to be from Kartel:

State of emergency is implimented to treat poor people and ghetto people like dogs. Take for example me. I am always in the public eye. Always going about my merry way, why is it that now is the time when they have an interest in me.when all human rights have been suspended? What has changed in the last 28 days about me to make me so interesting ? Interestingly enough I have not been to portmore in over two years yet it is portmore police who have taken interest in me and not st Andrew north where I have lived for the last 6 years. This is not the first time they have tried to tarnish my name. Few years ago They accused me, a man who cannot hide as I am a famous artiste as the killer of ” nunu puss”. ? They dragged me to horizon, kgn central, and guncourt remand centre in one night, took me back to horizon the next day where I stayed for three days, then released me and said ” oh sorry we made a mistake”.it is not the whole police force just a few bad seeds who have always been trying to damage my career by slandering me.so now is the opportune time to rake vybzkartel through the coal again and punish him unjustly. Use him as the example, posters boy for ” bad bwoy artiste”. Me can’t take it no more. If I was doing something wrong I wouldn’t even feel the way I’m feeling now.BB people, Please publish all of this so Jamaica people know what I’m going through. Better they just crucify me and done.send this message to everyone, b4 dem try frame me and kill me like the people dem in west kingston.

BET 2010 Awards

This year awards tops on my chart and will be one of my most memorable. I have watched the awards in the pass and have put out the effort to watch the entire ceremony for many years and I was unable to complete due to lack of enthusiasm which is due to the lack of a reggae category.

I do agree though that the BET awards have some favorable memories when Jeremy Fox was the host and last year when tribute was given to Michael Jackson but this year award was very special the tribute to Prince for his lifetime achievement and contribution to the music industry by Pattie Label, Alicia Keys

The performance by Kanye west as the opening was interesting also the introduction by the host for the night the queen Miss Latefa , DeBarg, Trey Songz, Drake and of course Miss Alicia Keys . As the show progressed and the artists performed, handed out and received awards I was entertained. But I was taken to a different place when Chris Brown performed the tribute to Michael Jackson my emotions climaxed when Chris performed the man in the mirror. I was so moved with emotion as I listen to Chris who has been through a lot of which was his own doing but now I do believe he has poured his heart out when he broke down during his performance.

This was a wonderful show one that I will remember for a long time and I was entertained for the three and a half hours that slipped by.

It has been widely believed for a long time that such lyrics influence especially the young and vulnerable in the Jamaican society.
All Jamaicans should realize that we are one whether you are from uptown or downtown, in the hills or in the valleys, we are the same people.

Damian says it all in his blockbuster song ‘Welcome To Jamrock.’ The Lyrics of the song is below: What we can we do to make a difference.

“Welcome To Jamrock”

Welcome to Jamrock, camp whe’ da’ thugs them camp at
Two pounds a weed inna van back
It inna your hand bag, your knapsack, it inna your back pack
The smell a give yah girlfriend contact
Some boy nuh know dis, them only come around like tourist
On the beach with a few club sodas
Bedtime stories, and pose like them name Chuck Norris
And don’t know the real hardcore
Cause Sandals a no ‘back-to’, da thugs Dem wi do whe’ them got to
And won’t think twice to shot you
Don’t make them spot you, unless you carry guns a lot too
A bare tough thing come at you

When Trenchtown man stop laugh and block-off traffic
Then them wheel and pop off and them start clap it
With the pin file dung and it a beat rapid
Police come inna jeep and them cant stop it
Some say them a playboy, a playboy rabbit
Funnyman a get dropped like a bad habit
So nobody pose tough if you don’t have it
Rastafari stands alone!

[Chorus]
Welcome to Jamrock, Welcome to Jamrock
Out in the streets, they call it murder!

[Verse 2]
Welcome to Jamdown, poor people a dead at random
Political violence, can’t done! Pure ghost and phantom, the youth
Dem get blind by stardom
Now the Kings Of Kings a call
Old man to Pickney, so wave unno hand if you with me
To see the sufferation sicken me
Them suit no fit me, to win election them trick we
Den them don’t do nuttin at all

Come on let’s face it, a ghetto education’s basic
A most a the youths them waste it
And when them waste it, that’s when them take da guns and replace it
Then them don’t stand a chance at all
And that’s why a nuff little youth have up some fat matic
With the extra magazine inna them back pocket
And a bleach a night time inna some black jacket
All who not lock glocks, them a lock rocket
Then will full you up a current like a short circuit
Dem a run a roadblock which part the cops block it
And from now till a morning not stop clock it
If them run outta rounds a bruck back ratchet

[Chorus]
Welcome to Jamrock (Southside, Northside)
Welcome to Jamrock (East Coast, West Coast, huh, yo)
Welcome to Jamrock (Cornwall, Middlesex and Surrey) Hey!
Welcome to Jamrock
Out in the streets, they call it murder!!!

[Outro]
Jamaica Jamaica! Jamaica Jamaica! Now!
Jamaica Jamaica! Yo! Jamaica Jamaica!
Welcome to Jamrock, Welcome to Jamrock

Bennie to say I am very disappointed in your behaviour or that of your entourage. You should not have stooped that low to get involve in entanglement especially coming from the funeral of the late voice artist O’Neil.
I wonder what O’Neil would have said if he was there and saw you behaving like that. Knowing that the dispute was related to material stuff something that one use then dispose.it woth the while to have your name all over the world that you got in a fight when coming from a funeral over a fender bumper.I wonder what people are saying my friends and families were very disappointed especially in light of what is taking place in Jamaica at this time.
