London based Jamaican star foot baller gets eighteen months in prison for groping a woman in a London bar. It is also alleged that king broke the woman nose in the same incident because she was not interested in his advance. King played in the Premiere League in Wigan, London making $US 58,000 per week. He will be fired from the club as a result of his sentence. This was not King’s first run in with the law as he served 5 months already in 2002 for driving a stolen BMW. He was later convicted also for assault on a couple of females.

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt recently declared in London that he is clean and it will take years for people to really believe he is. Bolt was referring to the fact that he is not the fastest man in the world because he is doped up or on any type of drugs. We know Bolt is drugs free not because we believe that he is honest or any thing like that. We know that he is clean because as a Jamaican the authorities have single tested, double tested, triple tested, quadruple tested and single tested him again.

Good move by Asafa Powell to launch a charity. It is always good to give back or try and help those who are less fortunate or who have plans to fallow in your footstep. Asafa is aware that there is a need out there and have come up with a plan to help others who someday might not only enjoy what it feels like to travel to other places and represent their country, and even to win a medal and to stand proud as your country’s national anthem is played. Wishing you all the best Asafa I hope you will get the necessary contributions in order to make this charity a success.

It is refreshing to see the Government of Jamaica doing what majority of the people in Jamaica wanted him to do.
After the impressive display in China and the unbelievable win in Germany it is only fair for the Government to acknowledge what the majority of Jamaicans knew and was feeling, the pride and passion and greatness of Jamaica. Jamaica Prime Minister, Bruce Golding, announces that he will bestowed one of the nation’s highest award on super sprinter Usain Bolt. When this is done Bolt will be called the ‘Honorable’ Usain Bolt. The PM also announces that Highway 2000 will be renamed after Bolt. Good job to honor them while they are alive and are on top of their game.

BERLIN (AP)—Usain Bolt was honored by the city of Berlin by receiving an original segment of the Berlin Wall—nearly three tons of it.

The Jamaican sprinter, who broke world records in winning gold medals in the 100 and 200 meters, was presented with the piece of wall at a small ceremony Sunday, the final day of the world championships.

The 12-foot high section will be delivered to Bolt’s training camp in Jamaica.
