It is very disturbing and concerning if the rumors that is floating is correct. It is said that MJ was overdose which led to his death by Demerol (meperidine). If this is really so this Dr. is grossly negligent to inject such drug and not to have Narcan (naloxone) an opioid antagonist at his side. I cannot see how someone would take such risk. Why would he be giving a medication like this with no oxygen or Narcan available?

I find it chilling as I listened to the 911 call and the guy on the call said that they were giving CPR with Michael lying on the bed. How can you administer CPR on a soft bed? Giving CPR on a soft surface produces inadequate compression because the bed goes up and down with each compression.

It’s a shame that Michael have ineffective people like this Dr. hanging around him. If it were a competent Dr. he would not have given him the drugs because he would know what signs and symptoms of over medication to look for before it get to that point. A good Dr would encourage him to go to the hospital to take care of his problem the proper way. A good Dr. would also know that he needs to have Narcan which would reverse this horrible situation.

This Dr. did not care about Michael. He cared about the status he has knowing Michael and the money he was making from him. Too many of these so call doctors are around, in fact what they really do are pushing drugs. The government, along with the food and drugs administration needs to do something about this growing problem of drug pusher doctors. They are disgrace to good hardworking doctors who want to go about caring for patients the right way.

It is sad and I am having a difficult time with the death of Michael Jackson but I am torn up to know that he is dead and it maybe due to the greed and carelessness of someone. If this death is caused for the overdose of Demerol then it is a shame because his life could have been saved with the use of Narcan.

I do hope that something will come out of this; some changes need to make as to how these medications are prescribed. Many may believe that this only goes on in Hollywood among the rich and famous but this is not so. This practice of drug abuse is going on all around the US. People with problems now know that if you have issues and problems you can go to the Doctor’s office or hospital and complain of pain and you can guarantee that you will be getting some good drugs. It’s a shame and it is sad but it is a reality of what is going on in the medical arena and this is something that we need to get a grip on.

Michael RIP you are gone but you won’t be forgotten.
