EARLY VOTING EXTENDED IN FLORIDA
Steve Schale, Florida State Director, Obama for America, has reported that Charlie Christ, governor of Florida, declared “a state of emergency.” Governor Christ has explained that there is an overwhelming number of Floridians eager to cast an early vote. With that said it was necessary for him to expand the early voting period.
Schale states in his email sent out to millions of Obama supporters, “Effective immediately, every early voting site in the state will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. through Friday, October 31st, and for a total of 12 hours between 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st, and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2nd.”
This is an Executive Order, we have been given all the resources necessary to vote, now it’s up to us to go out and make the difference. For more information call-1-877-235-6226 or contact your county's Supervisor of Elections.
