It is refreshing to see the Government of Jamaica doing what majority of the people in Jamaica wanted him to do.
After the impressive display in China and the unbelievable win in Germany it is only fair for the Government to acknowledge what the majority of Jamaicans knew and was feeling, the pride and passion and greatness of Jamaica. Many people were filled with so much happiness they did not know what to do with themselves many displayed their joy by laughing, shouting or crying as they observed the Jamaican athletes displayed their superior dominance in track and field.
Usain Bolt had done so much advertisement for his country and although many would like to give him something to say thank you in return they knew that they were not able to do so. Many Jamaicans rich and poor , young and old are filled with pride as they observed the performance of such a great athlete who is pound to represent and display what Jamaica have to offer in tracks as well as music and dance. We are over whelmed with joy as our body quenched to see history made right before our eyes.
It is because of what we felt we want to show our appreciation and to say thank you to Usain and the Government of Jamaican listen to the people of Jamaican and bestow upon Usain his rightful reward. The renaming of highway 2000 to Usain Bolt Highway, and the bestowing the deserving Order of Jamaica upon Usain. It is because of the action that the Prime Minister Bruce Golding displayed I think are his greatest moves since he has been elected to office. I know that most Jamaicans are pleased with his action and hope to see him listening more to the demand and need of the Jamaican people and move forward and Govern to put in place what Usain has advertised so that Jamaicans as well as visitors can enjoy the wonderful beautiful place called JAMAICA!!!
