GunOne of the reasons why crime has not been reduced in Jamaica is because of the political approach to crime. Have you ever wondered why the Bruce Golding government has not done a single thing better to reduce crime than the previous government. It is because in order to effectively deal with crime they will have to face the Dons that help put them and keep them in power. All these debates and ‘Two Mouth’ talking about solving crime is just efforts to fool the public. Every policeman in Jamaica knows who the criminals are, but mek dem touch dem. Once you call a politician name and everybody in the world knows who he or she is, like Portia and Bruce, they cannot solve crime because they run constituencies and garrisons which continue to exist as part of the criminal strongholds.
