It is being discussed in the media if we should invest money to promote the Jamaican heritage. This is an area where we lack improvement and interest. Many young people should not only read about the history of Jamaica but they should be able to have trips to visit these historical buildings and land site.

A country’s history helps to nation stronger. In America many of their famous land sites that people read about are preserved for locals as well as tourist to visit. We have so many historical site but many are destroyed or taken for granted it at all they still exit.

THE government should put in place whereby the local Politian should identified the historical land site in their area and come up with plan to improve that site in order to get revenue from that project. Jamaica has so many resources that are ignored. For instances we have many historical buildings in Spanish Town that should be protected but they are not protected or kept. Spanish town like Port Royal have so much history but it is not being utilize at all.
