Congratulation to the judge, Justice Raymund King, who sentenced a 39 year old man to 25 years in prison for abducting and raping a teenager at knife point. The only bad news is that the sentences run concurrently and he will only serve 15 years. Unfortunately the teenager will serve a life time from the psychological effect of the ordeal. It is only sentences like these that fits the crime will send a messages to the criminals in Jamaica.

I’m not saying that jamaica should follow every country’s rule , but in some countries rapists who been in the system are usually tagged and families are notified that their is a rapist in the neighborhood. And an amber alert is raised. In this case the rapist seems to be in a great deal of shame. Maybe he has a chemical embalance and can’t think that what he’s doing is wrong. But man should know the diffrence between consentual ages and under age teens who haven’t seen what life has to offer them. These men are to punished and receive therapy mentally and psychologically. This means he will be rehabilitated and have to be in the system as a sex offender.
