It seems like it is a done deal that the government of Jamaica is going to borrow as much as 1.2 billion dollars from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Those of us  remember the 70′s and 80′s when IMF borrowing ran havoc on the poorer class are getting nervous. Back then IMF dictated how you eat, drink, sleep and how often married people had sex and much more. It was ruthless, draconian and created massive hardship. I heard that they are much kinder and gentler now; I hope to God it is true.
