“Lawmakers in Jamaica may legalize marijuana. While lawmakers in Italy may legalize spaghetti, and Ireland may legalize whiskey…” (Jimmy Fallon)
It’s fulfilling to see the Jamaicans lawmakers has finally come to their senses making the right vote on legalizing 2oz and 5 plants. This is history in
the making even though it took them so long to sanctioned what many Jamaicans have been begging for..
We need lawmakers to be bold and brave like the heroes of Jamaicans…to make decisions that is right for Jamaicans which will improve Jamaica status. These lawmakers need to fight for Jamaica like the honorable Nanny, Marcus, Bogle and the others.
Many have known that Jamaica has the best weed in the world, but many people did not know that it was not legal to smoke weed in Jamaica. It was a joke on the late night talk show when they realized that it was illegal to some ganja in Jamaica. They make fun of us “it’s like it’s not legal to eat pizza in Italy one comedian joked .I know many have flash back to think what could have happened to them while they were having fun smoking a joint in a country where they thought that it was safe.
As I have written before “Jamaica gold “We now have the opportunity to tap into something that can make a difference in many lives, depending on how the lawmakers proceed from here. We can’t have foreigners come and take over something that Jamaicans already have the ability to do…We have from Doctors , Rastafarian, farmers, business operations(seller)and consumer who have been struggling for this cause long time ago…therefore they don’t need anyone who did not struggle or suffer for this (many Jamaicans have police record for1splif) therefore they are not welcome to come hopping on this minibus…
The Jamaicans should bask in their glory, there are many states in America that have legalized weed long before Jamaica let them enjoy those glory… Please don’t let the weed be like the bauxite, the sugar or Air Jamaica that have slipped through our fingers…let our children, and grand children children enjoy the blessing that God has bestowed upon us Jamaica.
