Air Jamaica Pilots Trying To Save Air J;  Will They Suceed?

According to recent news release The Air Jamaica Pilot Association is desperately trying to meet today’s deadline in coming up with the money to show the government that they are serious about purchasing the airline. This maybe the only chance that jamaicans have of claiming air Jamaica as their own again.

Since Air Jamaica went on the bidding block several months ago several companies and countries have been rumored to show interest in the airline but there is no sale so far. Recently it seems likely that Trinidad owned Caribbean Airlines was certain to be the owner, but no word on that yet. We certainly wish the pilots good luck in their bid.
