Not all Republicans are enclosed in a box as demonstrated by an interview I listened to with Meghan McCain on Larry King show. This interview was very refreshing and enlightening, I can truthfully say that I did enjoy seeing someone who was not afraid to be truthful and said things that actually make sense.

It is people like Meghan that is needed to change the Republican Party. You can see that she actually love her country and want the best no matter whom the President maybe. I am quite sure that many people who listened to her on Larry would not have a problem voting for her as a Republican candidate.

I also listen to portion from the State address by the Governor of Florida Charlie Crist and was quite impressed. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger should also be credited for the stance he took in light of the economic stimulus for the many people who are struggling and in need of economic help in these hard time. It is good that these Governors have the people interest at heart seeing that they were elected by the people to work for them.

People of every class, color, education status and creed are suffering economically so why then do we have Governors who are elected by the people to work for them turning down help that will benefit suffering people of their state. This takes me back to the story of Solomon 1 King 3:15-22. The true mother for the baby is willing to give her child to the other woman rather than to see her baby die. She shows how much she really loved her child.

Many may say and act as if they love their country. They will criticize others but when it comes to the real test one will see that all the talk was just about them and their ego. Because they are so immersed in their own selfishness and ignorance that before they elect to make the country and life better for others they would let their ego and grudge fullness decide.

They would rather see the Country that they say they love be destroyed instead of working with the President who many say have good ideas and is moving in the right direction. They don’t want to give credit to President Obama and his policy because they might actually work well for America and the world.
