Congratulation to the judge, Justice Raymund King, who sentenced a 39 year old man to 25 years in prison for abducting and raping a teenager at knife point. The only bad news is that the sentences run concurrently and he will only serve 15 years. Unfortunately the teenager will serve a life time from the psychological effect of the ordeal. It is only sentences like these that fits the crime will send a messages to the criminals in Jamaica.

The home of sitting Member of Parliament (MP) Joseph Hibbert was searched by the Jamaican Fraud Squad and the British Serious Fraud Office (SFO). Everyone is tight-lipped about the real reason for the search but speculation is that it may involved a 15 year old case involving a British company that used to operate in Jamaica.
