Two men were stabbed during an incident between fans of the two rival dance-hall artist kartel and Mavado on Tuesday in the Mannings Hill road areas of St. Andrew one man was sent home while

one is in serious condition after the incident. Reports are that senior police officers are working to get a peace talk going between both factions.

Many were anticipating these type of incidents after the the Sting stage show clash a few days ago. Both Mavado and Kartyl have huge followers some of which are not necessarily disciples. Many of thesefollowers are thugs who were dying for the opportunity to use the event to carry out their brand of violence. We hope both Mavado and Kartyl make a joint public denunciation of these types of actions as soon as possible. If they don’t we could have bloodshed days ahead of us.
