Now that Sting 2008 is all said and done, who came out triumphant? Sting was wrapped up early Saturday morning with a head to head battle between Mavado and Vybz Kartel. Both men displayed hits after hits hoping to

end all confusion of who is superior. So enough said, who was victorious? Lyrically, Vybz Kartel seemed to shut out Mavado, who had many silent moments of almost awkwardness. Mavado then gained many points after responding to a comment Vybz Kartel made about his mother, which many onlookers saw as a line that should not have been crossed. After both artists departed the stage, Ninjaman added a little more excitement by declaring Mavado the winner, with the audience’s approval. Although Mavado was declared unofficial winner, anyone who watched or will watch the clash will find it hard to rule out Vybz  Kartel as the apparent champion.
