Highly respected stage show Rebel Salute to be held on January 17 at the Port Kaiser sports club in St. Elizabeth. The show is a very popular annual even which attracts a wide cross section of fans due to its 'clean cultural lyrics' and the type of artists selected. A poll conducted by Jamaica Views attracted 802 voters with Vybz Kartel getting 434 (54.11%) of the vote, while Mavado received 368 (45.89%). This is consistent with other media outlets polls which show Kartyl as the winner despite the low ratings of the clash.
