Taurus Riley ‘Not Dissing” Daddy Jimmy Riley

Reggae superstar singer Taurus Riley announces that his new single ‘Start Anew’ where he denounces abuse on women was not a ‘dis’ to his artist dad Jimmy Riley. Jimmy Riley was accused of punching his wife Sandra Bramwell-Riley and is now in court. In issong Tarus Riley talks about the man saying that he loves you but beating you when he feels like. DJ Mavado under investigation for Sting Comment

Dance hall DJ is currently under investigation for comment he made at Sting reggae concert. It is alleged that Mavado during the clash with Vybz Kartyl made the comment that he Mavado 'shoot police already.'

The 2008 reggae category for Grammy Nominations are Burning Spear (Jah is real), Elephant Man(Let's get physical) Shaggy (Intoxication) Heavy D (Vibes) Lee "Scratch" Perry (Repentance) and Sly and Robbie(Amazing). This is the first nomination for Elephant Man. All of the others have won Grammy's before except Heavy D who was nominated three times already.
